Enamelling  is the process of fusing tiny particles of glass on to copper.

I use 0.9mm 100% copper plate and high quailty lead free opaque enamel powders.

Indvidual enamels are  150mm x 150mm set on a 22mm mdf backing 360mm x 360mm painted with a durable matt white finish which is wipeable.

Set of 9 small enamels are 50mm x50mm set on a 22mm mdf backing 360mm x 360mm painted with a durable matt white finish which is wipeable.

Commission will vary as are made to specific designs

After coming up with my initial design I cut out several stencils of the design, each one for a different colour and then carefully in turn sieve the glass powder on top the copper and place in the oven.

The amount of time in the oven and the temperature of the oven will effect the final colours. Everytime you make a design the end result is always slightly different.
